"Discovery Village Melbourne is really a great place! I’ve been to many facilities like this and Discovery definitely stands out! The leadership staff is amazing. They really care about the residents and it shows. They go out of their way to help in whatever way possible. All the activities they do is a great way to get the residents out and about and socializing. I would definitely recommend a tour."

"I moved into Discovery Village almost 1 1/2 years ago with my husband. They said we could live together in supervised Independent living and it was the perfect place for us. My husband had Alzheimers and I was able to spend my time caring for him as 3 meals a day were supplied as well as housekeeping which includes cleaning our apartment once a week, changing the linens on our king-sized bed and washing them. The nurses are always available for nursing needs. Should you accidentally take a spill you press the button on the necklace or bracelet given to you and nurses show up to get you upright or call

an ambulance should you need extra care.

My husband died after 7 1/2 months of living here and the love and compassion shown to me at that time by the residents and staff alike was palpable. I can't say enough about the feeling of community in this place. Our executive director presented me with a beautiful 8x10 picture of my husband and me dancing together at one of the Happy Hours and it was in a lovely frame for me to keep as a keepsake. Hugs from all were many.

The chef goes out of his way to present a wide variety of foods for us to enjoy. The activities staff plans events for every day of the week so if you're bored, it's because you don't come out and attend. Our moving here was our children's idea after exploring many options in the area and I am very grateful to be here.

"Discovery Village is AMAZING!!!! I toured MANY assisted living facilities and none of them even came close to the cleanliness, friendliness, helpfulness and atmosphere you experience walking into Discovery Village!! From the minute I walked in, I KNEW Discovery Village was the best fit for my grandma! So many activities daily to join in on… bingo, multiple card games, exercises, art projects, music sing alongs, movies and so much more!!! Everyone rants and raves about the food options and how delicious it is! We love stopping at the cappuccino bar on the way to my grandmas room! The ice cream bar at 2:15 is a definite hit! And the awesome parrot named radar is a totally fun addition to the facility! Any time we have a question, everyone is right on top of it willing to help!!"

"My father has been a resident for over 2 years and he is dictating as I write this. He loves the Sunday brunch and enjoys the menu changes. He enjoys a variety of food choices. My father enjoys the happy hour on Fridays and exercise classes daily. As the daughter the in-house nursing staff as well as the in-house therapy team give me peace of mind. The concierge team is incredible handling daily issues and fielding resident concerns and finding solutions. Internet down? Newspaper and mail? That’s all handled promptly. The housekeeping staff does an outstanding job; everything is always clean and fresh."
